At the heart of the scheme is a dramatic open-plan living space defined by soaring vaulted ceilings, large-format frameless glazing and uninterrupted visual connections to the surrounding landscape. Full-height sliding glass doors dissolve the threshold between inside and outside, allowing the principal living spaces to extend seamlessly onto expansive terraces, landscaped gardens and the outdoor pool environment beyond.

A key architectural feature of the home is the extensive use of corner glazing and frameless glass junctions, carefully positioned to frame unrestricted views across Pittville Park while maximising natural daylight throughout the interior. The result is a series of calm, light-filled spaces that feel deeply connected to their setting.

The material palette combines standing seam metal roofing, textured white render, charcoal detailing and vertical timber cladding to create a contemporary yet timeless aesthetic. The sharply defined roof forms and deep overhangs provide a strong architectural identity, while softer landscaping and natural materials bring warmth and balance to the composition.

Beyond the main dwelling, the project also incorporates a detached guest annexe, swimming pool and dedicated pool house, creating a cohesive collection of spaces designed for modern family living, entertaining and long-term flexibility.

Sustainability and building performance sit at the core of the design. The house has been conceived as an ultra high-performance home incorporating MVHR ventilation, air conditioning, an air source heat pump and an integrated renewable energy strategy. The standing seam roof itself functions as a large-scale solar PV array, allowing the building envelope to actively generate energy while maintaining the clean architectural language of the design.
